Elbow

PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is produced by taking a sample of the patient’s own blood (10-15 mls), much in the same way as a blood test would be performed, and placing this into a centrifuge to spin it very fast.
Tennis elbow is a common condition, which affects many people, both men and women. The exact cause of it is not known, however, it is typically seen in people with repetitive activities, whether this be work or sports related.
One of the most important nerves (ulna nerve) for the movement and feeling in your hand passes by the inner aspect of the elbow.
Arthritis in the elbow is much less common than arthritis to the hip or knee but no less troublesome.
